Hi, I’m
Traci Meadows Paxson
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
M.S., CCC-SLP
My career in Speech-Language Pathology actually began in the public schools, where I worked as an educator for 5 years before getting my degree in SLP. With a background in the classroom followed by 10 years in practice with occupational therapists, my 30+ years of blended experience have gifted me invaluable insights into sensory integration.
I founded Innovative Therapy in 2007, and work with children as young as 2 through young adult.
My unique perspective on child development and communication has led me to utilize sensory integration to support the whole child. This holistic approach is foundational for ensuring that speech and language therapy is not isolated from but integrated with other sensory needs in order to maximize a child’s potential to communicate.
I am driven by a passion to help children grow, thrive, and reach their full potential by offering personalized, evidence-based therapy that champions long-term progress.
